Doug Abbott, Senior Operations Specialist

Doug Abbott is a specialist in drinking water and wastewater systems operation, maintenance and management. He is a Maryland certified water and wastewater system operator. For more than 20 years, Doug has provided training and technical assistance for a broad spectrum of utility organizations, both nationally and internationally.  Projects have included on-site troubleshooting, process optimization, system O&M evaluations, and water and wastewater Comprehensive Performance Evaluations (CPEs). Doug has also conducted sanitary survey training nationally as requested by EPA Drinking Water Program. Doug has been providing technical assistance related to Enhanced Nutrient Removal under the Chesapeake Bay Restoration program for MCET.
