Mining Safety - Metal and Non-Metal Advisory Board
The Maryland Center for Environmental Training (MCET)
in partnership with the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and
with feedback from industry experts is working towards establishing a mining
safety training program for the State. This
project funded by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is
geared towards delivering training aimed to reduce injuries in the mining
industry through a comprehensive program specific to the industry.
