Steve Elder, Senior Training Specialist

Steve Elder is a specialist in water and wastewater systems operation, maintenance and management. He is a Certified Environmental Trainer, as well as a Maryland certified water and wastewater system operator and superintendent. For more than 25 years, Steve has provided training and technical assistance for a broad spectrum of utility organizations, both nationally and internationally. Projects have included on-site troubleshooting, process optimization, system O&M evaluations, and water and wastewater pilot studies and performance evaluations. Steve conducted the “Needs Assessments” for small and medium size systems in a number of States and has been involved with the sanitary survey program, including providing training and participating in conducting sanitary surveys of water systems.
