Debora Jones, Senior Health and Safety Specialist

Debora "Deb" Jones, RN, COHN-S, MPH, is MCET's Senior Health and Safety Specialist. Deb has over 19 years of experience in occupational health and safety, including extensive work with healthcare facilities, risk management, and injury prevention. She is a certified occupational health nurse specialist and has a Master's degree in Public Health from John Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.

Deb is currently delivering training programs for MCET in partnership with the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) state-wide training and education outreach for Maryland's employers and employees; the Department of Labor and Licensing Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) state-wide training outreach to Maryland's miners and sub-contractors; and for MCET in other areas such as NPDES, compliance auditing, and other related topics.
