Paula Martin, Trainer

Paula graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Animal Science and currently holds the following Maryland licenses:  Water IV and Wastewater IV, V, S and A.

Paula has 30 years experience in water and wastewater treatment.   For 15 years she was the superintendent of a municipal water system that included a 2.75 mgd surface water plant with conventional filtration and 12 wells.  As Superintendent, she created the water plant's safety program, operator training program, material data safety program and worked with other departments to create a respiratory protection program. 

Paula is a Past President of the Water and Waste Operators Association of Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia and a Past Chair of the Maryland Advisory Committee for the Training of Environmental Operators.
