Webcast - CSO Control Policy 101, March 21, 2007, 12:00 - 2:00 pm EDT

The Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Control Policy, issued in 1994, is the key to understanding community, state, and EPA efforts to address discharges from older, “combined” sanitary and storm sewer systems. Approximately 900 cities have combined sewer systems and are taking steps improve their performance and protect water quality.

This two-hour workshop will provide an overview of the CSO Policy, including discussion of the "nine minimum control measures" each city must implement through their CSO Long-Term Control Plans. The webcast will also discuss the roles and responsibilities of local, state, and federal officials. If you are new to the regulatory side of CSO control or want a comprehensive refresher on this topic, this webcast is for you.
